Things I wish were possible but are not:
I can only guess how much time is left when the query detects a map change. There is no game time returned by the server.
HLL does not use Steam region filters so the only way is to go off region/lang terms (or lack of) in server names.
Free geo-ip is not reliable - several times I have seen US servers reported as outside the US.
Since the server queries are centralized, I cannot display ping as it would be different for everyone.

Numbers are live in-the-moment and should be accurate.
Windows & Epic player names come back blank with a huge and incorrect join duration so are not listed in the find a player table.
I believe this incorrect join duration is the server uptime value (how long since it last restarted) and it would be very weird if it actually is.
Use steamcharts or
battlemetrics for more historical data.
However, with how these services work they will not factor in Gamepass (Windows) or Epic Games players.
Steam Charts uses numbers from the Steam Web API only and does not query any servers (as in how many people launched the game in Steam alone), see here.
BattleMetrics works by counting players from the steam server players query. However, since non-steam players come back as blank names (for whatever reason because of Team17) they get filtered out in BM.

The game on PC is currently available on two other platforms than steam.
Prior to the release on Epic, the average percentage of Windows players was around ~6%.
Using that we can approximate the number from each platform with the non-steam player count.
